But the question is.

 is hooberstand really haunted?.

Well we will put that to the test. all together we have been up to this area 4 or 5 times, and each time we have encountered something different. and we have had reports of people reporting sightings Of a dark figure man people would call a shadow person / man, there has been sightings of strange noises at night, and sightings of a black cat.

What is hooberstand?

well hooberstand is a folly, a look out tower, for the old days when the Romans were invading England. From the top of hooberstand you are meant to be able to see blackpool tower, on a clear day.

The little cove, *very small cave*

Not many people know this, But straight behind hooberstand, If you go down mass baning of leafs and carry on going straight forward, There is a little cove, what leads into the ground, for a short circle, We are not sure when or why that was built.

It could be a shelter in the old days, Or it could be a place were they kept food, or some valuable things.

Who else has investigated hooberstand?

Well we know a few,

Rotherham-ghosts :- who have been a few times to investigate and they have received a few good pictures.

 south Yorkshire paranormal :- Who have been to investigate this area, They got a orb anomaly on video on the little cove area.

 the general public :- posted sightings on Rotherham-ghosts, its a hot spot for people interested in the field to go to hooberstand and take some photos.

Our Investigation

investigation 1,

date : ??/??/?? / Investigators : Lee and Phillip / Time Of Investigation : 8:30pm

Start location : Back side path of hooberstand, / Equipment : cameras, Dictaphone, emf meter,

It was a dark and cold night we started the investigation at : 8.30 pm, We turned on our equipment and started to walk slowly up the side path taking photos, We was getting nothing, on our pictures and evp, and also the emf,

As we got so far up the windy scary looking path, The emf started going off for no reason, When the emf meter goes it it means that there is an electrical current passing *ghost* or a situational current what should be power lines or anything what gives of a constant current there for the emf should go off in the same area non stop.

In our case the emf meter went off once, in a area, we tried to find it again and couldn’t, But when we wasn’t expecting to find it, a bit further up from were we got the first reading it went of 3 times, and stopped, We took a picture to get a big orb in that area.

Moments later, The emf completely drained, when the batteries was fully charged.

coincidence? Or paranormal? Lee and phillip at project-reveal cant really explain what happened there.

Back onto the investigation,

After a few more photos in the past area we then decided to move on, with the investigation, with just our camera's and Dictaphone, We eventually got to the end of the path and we was on the side banking to hoober stand, Yet again taking photos, The best photos we got was an orb in that area, really not convincing to us.

We then moved further on towards the folly Once we got to the folly, we took a few pictures, Yet again nothing strange and unordinary on the photos, Not even orbs, we then decided to leave the Dictaphone on the entrance door step of the folly, and we walked around the corner, to call out and listen out for anything unusual, nothing happened, we went back around to collect the Dictaphone, and walked back around to the back, Of the folly, to place the Dictaphone there for 5 mins, but strangely enough the Dictaphone went dead, when yet again the batteries was fully charged. But that time were not convinced that it is paranormal.

after another minute standing there we was about to start and walk back home, But then i heard Like a supersonic strange tick.

This is so strange... i didn’t say anything at first, and then i heard it again, and again, and then i' lee said to Phil did u hear that and he said yes. So we stayed abit longer listing, and it got loader and louder, to be honest it wasn’t scary it was just really strange,

 and so hard to explained, Put it this way i never heard a sound like it before. Paranormal or not? we decided to head back home and tell the team on what we encounter, to prepare for Investigation 2 a week later.

Investigation 2

date : ??/??/?? / Investigators : Lee, Phillip, john, Amy, Trish. / Time Of Investigation : 8:30pm

Start location : Back side path of hooberstand, / Equipment : cameras, Dictaphone, emf meter, pendulum, Oujia board.

It was a cold dark night, all the team met up outside the hooberstand back path.

We all stood and had a brief talk about tonight, what we was going to do and ect.. before walking up the side path.

Wile we was walking up the side path, nothing happened, we felt Fine.

We walked all the way up the path and nothing strange and unusual happend to us.

Most of the team headed up towards hooberstand, lee and phil was shortly behind, Just checking the area with the torch to see if anyone one was around, there was no one around so we decided to join the rest of the crew.

Once we all was here at hooberstand, we had a little think, and a listen, While phill did some evp recordings.

We do not know yet if anything unusual is on the evp's yet., once we know we will update this page and evp page.

Suddenly Trish our Pagan medium clamed to have seen some one walk down the side of the folly, afterwards things started to heat up.

  Trish spotted a light in the little side forest area, next to the folly, and then Amy saw the light and john and Phillip, i lee was actually having trouble seeing it at first, but eventually i started seeing it.

It looked like there was some person down the shining a tourch, from left to right, we watched it for abit, until Lee, Phil, John, decided to go down there and have a look, Amy and Trish stayed were they could see this light.

Wile down there looking for the light, we couldn’t see it, So we then shouted Trish and Amy for directions to move,

we started following there directions, In a certain area, Lee Phil John felt abit strange, And we saw a Bright orb, move from left to right, at rather fast speed, It was clear as day light, There was no cars around, or any light source, Im am convinced it was a spirit Orb,

Luckily Phil took a picture right away at the same time me and john saw it.

Once we got back and told the girls, we decided to do a oujia board, **Don’t try one without real help and knowledge**

We set out the ouija board on the door step of the folly, and we chanted the Gods prayer, to protect us,

After the prayer we asked out if anyone was there, nothing happened, we asked again, and it felt like the glass was pressed down with great forces, and we all had our figure tips gently on the ends of the glass, later on it started to twist underneath our figure tips and slowly move, towards bye.

We couldn’t keep doing the ouija board, as it was to windy, and some people was very close walking towards us, so we decided to pack up and call it a night, In our eyes it was very successful, with he moving orb caught on a photo, and the ouija board response.

Sadly we didn’t get no pictures, on this investigations But luckily anoth, On a small past investigation me and phill just decided to stop by and take some photos we got some rather strange photos.

Is Hooberstand haunted?

Lee's view :- I am not fully convinced yet, that

Hooberstand is haunted, Yes we caught an

orb and saw an orb with my owns eyes move,

I cant explain that. But it isn’t anoth for me, The lights that we all saw at the top of the folly could have been car lights what we was seeing reflecting off the trees and objects. It still could have be paranormal,

Yes we have pictures but it still isn’t solid evidence

to me, even thothe fogs and mist figures wasn’t

visible to the Naked eye.
