What is a Crystal Ball

A globe of quartz crystal or glass in which images, especially those believed to foretell the future, are supposedly visible to

fortune tellers or mediums.

Many mediums that use a crystal ball, boast about their spirit helpers - ghosts or spirits of dead people who perform

various tasks. Some consider this a form of possession, as the spirits themselves may require some form of payment for

their assistance.
